Brian founded CPI in 1996 to help investment firms and their portfolio companies hire and retain talent, assess internal issues and analyze growth opportunities. Brian leads CPI and our seven verticals. He also helps manage senior searches and other projects at all levels. With the support and leadership of his talented colleagues, Brian has helped nurture a close, loyal, collaborative, scrappy and entrepreneurial culture at CPI. Team members work selflessly together, sharing the deep network, knowledge and resources of CPI.
Brian is also the Co-Founder of CPI Capital Services (“CPICS”) which co-invests with independent sponsors.
He is also the Co-Founder of the Autism Impact Fund, a healthcare VC firm.
Brian created an online forum called Hearts, Minds & Souls at the beginning of Covid to help business leaders and others manage the virus’s impact. It then evolved into a multi-faceted weekly forum covering a wide range of topics including health, science, business, race and equity, social reform, sports, music, family, education, entertainment and geopolitics with a myriad of high-profile participants and guests.
Prior to founding CPI, Brian was a Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle and an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in Real Estate Investment Banking. Brian is a graduate of The Lawrenceville School and Denison University where he played Football and Lacrosse.
