Brian A.

Brian founded CPI in 1996, the first recruiting firm to focus within the investment industry.  24 years later, he has been fortunate to work with leading private equity firms, VC firms, hedge funds, family offices, SWFs and endowments with clients of all sizes and strategies as recruiting partner, investor, human behaviorist, business partner, confidant and advisor.

Brian manages the Firm and executes projects from Analyst-Partner.  With the support and leadership of his talented colleagues, Brian has built a close, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.  The team works selflessly together giving clients exceptional service and deep expertise unlike any other recruiting firm.  All clients receive the brain share and resources of the entire firm.

Prior to founding CPI, Brian was a Vice President with the international real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle.  Before that he was with Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Real Estate Group where he worked on equity and debt transactions including the firm’s purchase of its world headquarters.  Brian has also been involved with several entrepreneurial ventures acting as founder, investor and advisor.

Brian is on the national board and serves as the Chair of NYC Advisory Board for Good Sports, an organization that provides funding and equipment for children in need.  He also supports several other charities.
